What “Same-Day Signs” Really Means
Same-day production depends on a cutoff time, a clear proof, and a product type the shop can produce on equipment that is free. “Most orders ship same day” is a production claim — not a guarantee that every custom shape ordered at 4:55 p.m. walks out the door that evening.
- Approve proofs quickly — waiting overnight on a proof burns the rush window
- Simple quantities of standard products rush easier than complex multi-color builds
- Ask what “same day” covers: production, local pickup, or carrier handoff
